Alongside her media career, Leonor Poeiras graduated in Painting from Ar.Co – Centro de Arte e Comunicação Visual, in Lisbon. She began the course in the 2009/10 academic year and, after a long interruption, returned to complete it between 2017 and 2019.

Leonor Poeiras began her daily artistic practice in 2020, at the age of 40, closing a two-decade chapter in the Portuguese media.

In her creative process, she feels driven to imprint the noise and materiality of the real world, intervening on smooth surfaces in a personal reflection on what is natural and what is constructed.

Patches of strong color initially camouflage the gesture, which gradually reveals itself through physical proximity.

She is currently a student in the online course Tangible Things: Discovering History Through Artworks, Artifacts, Scientific Specimens, and the Stuff Around You, offered by Harvard University.

Em Abril de 2026 apresentou a sua primeira exposição individual, em Lisboa, Numa Sala.
